When you find yourself going through one of life’s many challenges, find a space where you can let go, breath and meditate.
Choose a space in a location that is special to you, it may be inside your home away from the main living area or outside where you can experience the organic nature of the great outdoors.
Identify and mark this space by decorating it with a special cushion, soft light or anything that is special to you.
Practice breathing calmly to create more space in the body and mind. (Try equal ratio breathing by counting the length of your inhale and making your exhale the same length. Increase the exhale breath slowly until it is double the length of your inhale.)
Now, begin to notice the space you've created both physically and mentally.
