Most of us are guilty of overthinking at some point whether we think excessively about our schedules, relationships, diet and exercise, job related issues, clothing, purchases, or events, it is all just way too much thinking. 

By overthinking, we may create a problem that isn’t actually there.

Giving ourselves the run around can lead to an inability to let go, creating an excessive behavior that can be identified as overthinking. If one is aware of a tendency to overthink things, we can learn to redirect our attention away from the issue.

Try paying attention to your thought patterns for a few days and identify if there is any overthinking going on in your life. If it is, try to make a conscious choice to let go of the thought and just let it be. You may come to the realization that most things work out if you just let the universe take over. Then, see how much better you feel.
